Notable Callsigns at the shack yesterday

Antony and Tony worked a good number of stations yesterday including A61HA in Abu Dhabi, 7Z1RR in Jeddah, TC17TRC, commemorating the earthquake in Duzce, Turkey 17 years ago and R26MDXC a special event station for the Miller DX Club of Millervo, Russia for which a diploma will be given to amateur stations achieving 6 contacts…

New Foundation Callsigns

Congratulations to Bob M6HXN and Paul M6HXG on getting their new callsigns. BSARS wishes them all the best in the hobby and looks forward to them proceeding on to their Intermediate licences. Hope to hear them both on the air very soon.

1st November at the shack

Antony G4CUS reports that conditions on 20m today at the shack were somewhat better and he had contacts with 2 Algerian, 1 Turkish, 1 Asiatic Russian, 1 Cypriot, 1 Canadian in Newfoundland and 2 USA stations. He also heard some strong VK (Australian) stations and 1 from Vietnam but in those cases they QSY’ed off…

Training weekend report
